The Shining Light Show was born out of Flourish’s desire to give people a platform to share their unfiltered stories. As a journalist, she kept hearing powerful testimonies that credited God for success, but working in secular media meant these parts of the story were often edited out. In 2022, she felt a strong pull to start a podcast where people could share their faith and experiences without holding back.
“I wasn’t thinking about numbers or likes. I just knew this needed to be done,” Flourish shares. And so, the Shining Light Show was born—a platform where real people have real conversations, and the testimonies coming from it have been nothing short of miraculous.
Since launching, the Shining Light Show has touched countless lives, reaching far beyond Flourish’s initial expectations. What started as a passion project has become a global community of believers finding inspiration and transformation through storytelling. Flourish’s goal has always been clear: renew minds, transform lives, and lead people closer to Christ.
“The most humbling part is hearing how these episodes are changing lives,” she says. Whether it’s a single quote or a full conversation, the show has become a source of healing, encouragement, and spiritual growth for people all over the world.
Every episode of the Shining Light Show brings something special, but Flourish’s interview with Debola Deji-Kurunmi (DDK) stands out as a personal favorite. DDK has been a mentor to Flourish, and getting to sit down and dive deep into conversation with someone who helped shape her own journey was a full-circle moment.
